A funeral for Larry "Irish Pat" Duncan, 55, a Carson City resident for the past 51 years, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
A reception will follow at the church.
Mr. Duncan died Nov. 2, 2004, in Carson City.
He was born Dec. 24, 1948, in Vallejo, Calif., to Pat and LaVerne Duncan.
He attended Carson High School.
Mr. Duncan was a professional heavyweight boxer from 1962 to 1983. He retired from the Laborers Union in 1998.
He served in the U.S. Army for four years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Midge Shinners.
Among his survivors are his wife, Karen; son, Patrick; stepdaughter, Amy Robinson; sister Patti Bova; and nieces and nephews.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
