Attempted murder suspect sought by Washoe

Washoe County Sheriff's Office is looking for a Hispanic or American Indian male, described as possibly 30 to 35 years of age; 5'6'' to 5'9'' in height; muscular build, with short, curly hair combed back. The man is described as clean-cut with a pock-marked complexion.

He is wanted in connection with the alleged attempted murder of a woman he is accused of forcing into a truck on Nov. 11 and bringing up to the hills above Hoge Road and attacking with some type of blunt object. The crime is similar to one that occurred in the same general area on June 3. Investigations in both cases are ongoing.

Items in his vehicle, described as a green pickup possibly with an extended or crew cab, indicate he might work in the construction industry.

Anyone knowing someone matching this description or who may have seen a blond female approximately 5'9'' with a thin build enter a green pickup in the area of West Fourth Street and Ralston in Reno on Thursday night are asked to contact Washoe County Sheriff's Detectives at 328-3320 or Secret Witness.
