Ross W. Allen

Ross W. Allen, 82, a Carson City resident for the past 36 years, died Nov. 14, 2004, in Carson City. He was born Feb. 1, 1922, in Pryor, Okla., to Augustus and Myrtle Watkins Allen.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived at South Lake Tahoe.

Mr. Allen was self-employed and owned various businesses during his career. He was a member of the Masons. He enjoyed square dancing and belonged to square dance clubs for many years while living at South Lake Tahoe.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nathalie J., in 2002, and son, Wayne, in 1994.

Among his survivors are his son, Warner of Carson City; daughter, Katherine Rojeck of Sacramento; and six grandchildren.

At his request, no service will be held.
