Russell L. Donohue, 79, a 15-year Carson City resident, died Nov. 15, 2004, in Carson City. He was born July 24, 1925, in Pioche.
He attended schools in Pioche and Lincoln High School and Dixie College. He was an outstanding athlete.
Mr. Donohue was an aircraft mechanic for the U.S. government.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and Korea.
Among his survivors are his son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Lorraine of Wailuku, Hawaii; son, Rusty of Salt Lake City; brother, Owen of Pioche; grandchildren Ryan, Steven and Trisha and fiancee Helen Darling Smith of Panaca.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
No services will be held.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
