Altair Nanotechnologies, Inc.
of Reno, , in collaboration with the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Research Foundation and Hydrogen Solar LLC, said last week the consortium has received a $3 million grant award from the U.S.
Department of Energy.
The work involves solar hydrogen production at a refilling station under development in Las Vegas.
Under the terms of the multi-year grant Altair will receive $400,000 for collaborative research and development efforts through its subcontractor agreement with the research foundation.
