Stacey Shaffer, Tanna McTee

Stacey Shaffer and Tanna McTee have joined the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority as national sales managers.

Shaffer most recently worked as director of group sales at the San Jose Marriott in San Jose, Calif.,where she was responsible for group and catering markets.Her experience includes sales positions at the San Mateo Marriott and Residence Inn by Marriott in San Mateo, Calif., and the Renaissance Chicago Hotel, The Sutton Place Hotel and the Hyatt Printers Row, all in Chicago.

Shaffer received her bachelor's degree in liberal arts in 1994 from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

McTee moved to Reno from Ogden, Utah, where she worked as director of

sales with the Ogden Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Her experience includes more than 15 years in the hospitality industry, hiring and training sales staff, creating marketing and sales plans and managing the catering and sales department of the Ogden Convention and Visitors Bureau.

She studied communications and creative writing at Weber State University in Ogden.
