Richard David Ouimette

A funeral for Richard David Ouimette, 75, a Highland, Utah, resident, will be at 11 a.m. today at the Highland West Stake Center.

Mr. Ouimette died Nov. 29, 2004, at home .

He was born Christmas Eve 1928 in Chicopee, Mass., to Charles Frederick and Eleanor Czelusniak Ouimette.

He married Marilyn Jean O'Connor on April 19, 1958, in Temple City, Calif.

They were sealed in the Oakland, Calif., Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Temple on April 28, 1984.

Mr. Ouimette retired as assistant vice president of Security Pacific National Bank in San Jose, Calif.

He enjoyed retirement in Madison, Conn.; Carson City and Highland.

He was baptized in the LDS Church on April 31, 1983, in San Jose.

His church service included playing piano in Primary, serving as ward financial clerk and working with foreign-language missionaries at the Missionary Training Center.

He performed and composed music all his life. He enjoyed the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Charles of Yreka, Calif.; and grandson Matthew David Ouimette of Provo, Utah.

Among his survivors are his wife; children David Scott and Deanna of Highland, Karen Barbara and Bruce MacMaster of Rocklin, Calif., and Kimberly Ann and Andy Golling of Pleasant Grove, Utah; and 17 grandchildren.
