IGT boosts dividend,wins patent lawsuit

International Game Technology of Reno said it will pay a quarterly dividend of 12 cents a share Oct.

The payout is up from the 10 cents in the previous quarter.

Separately, IGT and Action Gaming won a $7.36 million verdict in a patent infringement lawsuit the companies brought against Alliance Gaming and United Coin Machine.

Alliance and United Coin Machine were found to have infringed two patents through their Multi-Play Poker games.
