Daniel Rosenblatt has been named executive director of the Lear Theater in Reno.
Rosenblatt previously worked for Universal Studios Japan, producing such shows as "Beetlejuice,""Animal Actors" and "WaterWorld." Rosenblatt also worked for the Walt Disney Company for nine years and was part of the original team that created the Walt Disney Theatrical Division.He has built and renovated theatres in Boston, Chicago,New York, and Hollywood.
Susan Mayes-Smith, former executive director of the Lear Theater, left in August to become the principal for TMCC high school.
