Mona Vivian Dressler

A graveside service for Mona Vivian Dressler, 85, a Carson City resident, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Monday at Walton's.

Mrs. Dressler died Sept. 16, 2004, in Carson City. She was born Jan. 2, 1919, in Oklahoma, to Augustus and Selma Robinson.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived at South Lake Tahoe.

Mrs. Dressler worked as a waitress at Harrah's from 1959 until her retirement in 1984. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joel E. in 1985.

Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law Jerry and Joan of Dayton; sister, Virginia Snodgrass of Muscotah, Kan.; grandchildren Alan Dressler, Kirke Dressler and Amanda Barwig and nine great-grandchildren.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
