A memorial service for Edna May Callahan, 78, a Gardnerville resident for the past three years, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Gall Catholic Church.
Mrs. Callahan died Sept. 16, 2004, at her home. She was born May 28, 1926, in Nova Scotia, Canada, to Philip and Florence LeBlanc.
Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Lynn, Mass., for 60 years.
Mrs. Callahan worked at General Electric for 20 years, retiring in 1987. She was a Catholic.
Among her survivors are her husband, Charles J., daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Peter Difillipo and son, Wayne Callahan, all of Gardnerville.
Inurnment will be at Eastside Memorial Park in Minden.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
