Granite Materials Department has promoted Nicki Houston to ready mix operations, Chuck Davies to material sales manager, and Rob Carter to construction material salesman.
Houston is responsible for assisting in the management of Ready Mix Operations for CB Concrete and Capitol City Concrete.
She holds a bachelor's degree from Montana Tech, and is a member of the Associated General Contractors and the Sierra Nevada Concrete Association.
Davies oversees sales of aggregates and asphalt for Nevada Operations.
He earned a bachelor's degree from Sacramento State University and is a member of the Lyon County Planning Commission.He has more than 35 years of experience in the construction industry.
Carter is responsible for quoting materials, customer relations and scheduling.
Prior to his new position, Carter worked as a project engineer for Granite's Carson City office.
He earned a bachelor's degree in construction engineering management and a minor in business administration from Oregon State University.
