Joe J. Page, 81, a Virginia City resident for the past 42 years, died April 22, 2005, at his home. He was born Sept. 5, 1923, in Tennessee to Joe J. Sr. and Minerva Elizabeth Foster Page.
He married Carol Morgan in 1982, in Virginia City. She preceded him in death in 1996.
Before moving to Virginia City, he lived in Sparks.
Mr. Page was a retired electrician and a retired member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union.
Among his survivors are his daughters Sandi Joe Latondress of Virginia City and Kathy Gasbarri of Truckee; sons David Page of Gardnerville and Kevin Shehan of Ontario, Calif.; brother, William H.F. Page of Florida; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
