A memorial service for Kathleen (Funk) Sabino of Minden will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville.
A celebration of life will follow at Soar Minden.
Mrs. Sabino died April 21, 2005.
She was born in 1949, in Centralia, Wash., to Clifford and Alta Funk.
She was a student of natural history and enjoyed reading. She was a licensed glider pilot and enjoyed traveling the world.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Bryan Eckert; brother Robert Funk; and sister Judith Funk.
Among her survivors are her husband, Antonio of Minden; daughters Mika Means of Los Angeles and Jemi Ann Baker of Seattle; stepsons Tony and Paul Sabino and their families; brother Larry E. Funk of Bristow, Okla.; sister Kippy Bethel of Bristow, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews.
