Rollover on Highway 50 stalls eastbound rush-hour traffic

A man was injured in single-vehicle rollover accident on Dump Hill on Friday afternoon that tied up eastbound traffic for an hour.

According to Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Todd Hartline, the man was in the outside lane near Flint Road when he tapped a construction vehicle in the next lane, "steered back to the right and overturned several times off the roadway."

The man did not have any visible injuries, but was transported by helicopter to Washoe Medical Center as a precaution, Hartline said.

Traffic was backed up to Graves Lane in Carson City until about 5 p.m.
