A memorial service for Sherman Ross Kay a Dayton resident, will be at 11 a.m. today at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley with a U.S. Air Force Honor Guard to fold and present the American flag.
Mr. Kay died Dec. 9, 2005, at his home after a fall. He was born in Provo, Utah, to Levi Ross and Grace Bills Kay.
Among his survivors are his wife, Carole Linda Wade; son Bart of Sunnyvale, Calif.; son and daughter-in-law Brent and Amanda of Dayton; grandchildren Liam, Noah and Meredith; brother Chuck of Provo, and an aunt Rita Stewart and her daughter Patricia Dixon.
Walton Funeral Home, Reno, is in charge of arrangements.
