Chan holds a master's degree in taxation from Golden Gate University and has more than 25 years of experience in accounting.
She specializes in tax Estate Planning Council officers Richard E.Wait will serve as president of the Estate Planning Council of Northern Nevada this year.
Other officers include Gail Humphreys, vice president; David Troescher, secretary; and Bradley Anderson, treasurer.
