Jesse Calvin Turner

A memorial service for Jesse Calvin Turner, 62, a Stagecoach resident for the past eight years, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at the Church of God, 8925 Highway 50 East, Stagecoach, with the Rev. Tom Mitchell officiating.

Mr. Turner died Jan. 25, 2005, in Stagecoach. He was born Feb. 21, 1942, in Oceola, Ark., to Benjamin Walter and Margaret Turner.

He attended Mount View High School.

He married Arlene on Aug. 6, 1968, in Reno.

Before moving to Stagecoach, he lived in San Jose, Calif.

Mr. Turner was a truck driver and a wastewater operator for Chromalloy. He was a member of the Teamsters Union.

He was preceded in death by brother, James and sister, Aline Lackey.

Among his survivors are his wife of Stagecoach; daughters-and sons-in-law Kathryn and Michael Lewis of San Jose and Barbara and Kurtis Zischka of Dublin, Calif.; son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Seressea Fenech of San Jose; sons Robert Field and Timothy Turner, both of Stagecoach; sister, Ilah Faye Lloyd of Idaho; brothers Douglas and Walter, both of Idaho; eight grandchildren; six nephews and three nieces.

Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
