A memorial service for William B. Gallagher, 82, a 17-year resident of Minden will be at 11 a.m. Monday at FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home.
Mr. Gallagher died Feb. 10, 2005, in Gardnerville. He was born Jan. 26, 1923, in Wilmington, Del., to William and Alma Nolan Gallagher.
Before coming to Minden he lived in Los Angeles.
He married Pauline M. on Nov. 25, 1944, in East Millinocket, Maine.
Mr. Gallagher retired after 30 years from GTE. He served during WWII in the U.S. Coast Guard.
Among his survivors are his wife of Minden; son Mickey of Santa Monica, Calif.; daughter Sue Wolfe of Belleville, Ill., and six grandchildren.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Carson City.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
