Office interiors firm moves downtown

Running against the tide of businesses moving to south Reno, KAHL Office Interiors Inc.

"Our main motivations were to get out of the sprawling suburban office parks where automobiles rule and become an absolute necessity for lunch, shopping and quick errands," said President Dan Kahl.

The company leased about 2,000 square feet on the lower level of the West Liberty Building.

Kahl said most of the company's clients are in office buildings in southern parts of Reno, but they don't object to traveling to the downtown location.

"They look forward to the downtown adventure the eateries, the sights and the activities downtown,"Kahl said.
