Tom Outland, former vice president and general manager of Macy's Reno, has joined Powerhouse, formerly Gustin Curtis Advertising, in Reno.
Outland spent 17 years at the Macy's helm before consulting for Shiseido Cosmetics in New York.He also recently consulted with the City of Reno Redevelopment Agency.
Outland is former chair of the Forum for a Common Agenda, and former chair of Artown.He is currently chair of the board of the Kids/Senior Korner, and has been involved with Children's Cabinet, the Nevada Women's Fund and the UNR School of Education.
