A funeral for Lota Izora Bush, 79, a Yerington resident for the past 21 years, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bush died Feb. 20, 2005, in Reno at St. May's Hospital. She was born Oct. 8, 1925, in McCurtain, Okla., to Samuel and Tamer Izora Kelly Madewell.
Before moving to Yerington, she lived in Santa Paula, Calif.
Mrs. Bush was the school cafeteria manager for the Briggs School District for 28 years. She was a member of the South Lyon Hospital Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack "Red" Bush.
Among his survivors are her children Jack Bush of Yerington, Janice Fox of Montello and Sue Ramirez of Wellington; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
Burial will be at Valley View Cemetery in Yerington.
Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
