The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Ernest Saragosa, 22, a carpet cleaner from Carson City, was arrested at 10:32 p.m. Thursday in the 3900 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor possession of brass knuckles, misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia and shoplifting. Bail was set at $3,900.
n Deputies responded to the following calls:
• A woman found a 5-year-old boy outside walking in the snow without a jacket and socks on Saturday at 9:46 a.m. He said he was on the way to his mother's work at a casino. The woman took the child into her home and gave him hot chocolate.
• A man attempted to leave the scene of an accident but got stuck in the snow Friday at 5:07 p.m. He was last seen by the reporting party trying to shovel himself out on Clearview Drive. The man was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.
