Candace Evart

Candace Evart has been named director of business development at Meridian Business Advisors of Reno.

Evart has more than 20 years of experience analyzing economic and market feasibility for public and private sector clients and has been consulting in the casino industry since 1985.

Evart received a bachelor's degree from the University of California at Berkeley.

She received a master's degree in business administration and a postgraduate degree in the executive development program in casino management from the University of Nevada, Reno.

She is a Certified Professional Consultant to Management, a member of the National Bureau of Professional Consultants, a former commissioner for the Nevada State Tax Commission, a member of the Board of Governors of Washoe Medical Center, past board member of the Nevada Women's Fund, past chairman of the United Way, Northern Nevada, and past president of the YWCA, Reno.
