A funeral for Jo Damon, 83, a Carson City resident for the past 12 years, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Damon died Jan. 7, 2005, in Carson City. She was born June 24, 1921, in New York City.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Ventura County, Calif.
Mrs. Damon was a quality-assurance inspector at ABEX Aerospace in Ventura for 26 years, retiring in 1991. She worked at the Carson City Senior Citizens Center from 1993 to 1999.
She enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Among her survivors are her sons Bud and Chuck, both of Carson City; and grandson, Michael Damon, stationed at the Norfolk, Va., Naval Base.
Burial will be in Lone Mountain Cemetery.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
