Jody Brown has been named manager of the new Fallon Branch of Great Basin Bank.
The branch will open in April.
Brown began her banking career in 1977 as a teller at Security Bank of Nevada.
She also worked for Valley Bank before she took a management position with Bank of America, where she served as a branch manager in Fallon and Fernley and client manager of Premier Banking.
She most recently was a financial center manager for Citibank.
Brown is a member of the Fallon Rotary Club, Fallon Soroptimist Club and Churchill County Economic Development.
She is a former vice president of the Bank of America Diversity Club, former vice president of the Fernley Chamber of Commerce and in 1995 was awarded the Nevada Women's Fund Achievement Award.
