Shopping center in Yerington acquired

A California-based investment group purchased Yerington Plaza Shopping Center, which is anchored by a Scolari's Food & Drug Store.

Brookhaven LLC paid $5.95 million for the 55,531-square-foot center.

The seller was Triple Net Properties of Santa Ana, Calif., which paid $4.42 million for the property in March 1999.

Triple Net Properties owned the center on behalf of a group of tenant-in-common investors.

The retail center sits on 6.9 acres.

Along with Scolari's,major tenants include Coast to Coast Hardware and Round Table Pizza.

Brookhaven also purchased three pads for future retail development on the property, paying $500,000.

in Reno represented Triple Net Properties in the sale.
