Sierra Telephone Systems of Reno this month marked its 20th anniversary.
Owners Tim Berry and Greg Schuster said the company is the oldest privately owned telecommunications company in Northern Nevada.
Berry and Schuster were laid off in the Bell Telephone breakup of 1984 and launched their company on Jan.
1, 1985.
