According to the Lyon County Sheriff's Department, a raid at 317 Valley Vista Drive on Jan. 19 came about after a three-week investigation into methamphetamine sales.

When officers approached the home to serve the search warrant, Bell allegedly spotted them via a security system and attempted to elude police by climbing onto the rooftop of the home with a Bowie knife. He was arrested without incident. In the home, officers allegedly recovered 6 grams of methamphetamine.

Pettit was stopped a block from the residence while riding as a passenger in a vehicle. She allegedly carried with her 4 grams of methamphetamine.
