Claudette Joyce Thode, 62, a Dayton resident, died July 4, 2005, at her home. She was born Sept. 5, 1942, in Pontiac, Mich., to Elmer and Doreen Mahon Hoskinson.
She graduated from Waterford High School in 1961.
She married Richard L. Thode. Mrs. Thode enjoyed her family.
Among her survivors are her husband of Dayton; children Mathew and Sheri Caspers of Las Vegas and Mark Caspers of the Phoenix area; sister and brother-in-law Linda and Ollie Putz of Gaastra, Mich., and 10 grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
At her request, no service will be held.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
