Vera V. Osborne, 92, a Virginia City resident for the past five years, died July 5, 2005, in Virginia City. She was born March 27, 1913, in Meservey, Iowa, to John and Anna Bachman.
She married Lyle D. Osborne on Sept. 23, 1939, in Iowa. He preceded her in death.
Before moving to Virginia City, she lived in Las Vegas.
Among her survivors are her sons Darrell of Virginia City and Robert of Henderson; brother, Elmer Bachman, of Meservey and six grandchildren.
No local service will be held.
Inurnment will be in Davis Memorial Park in Las Vegas.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
