Two commercial real estate groups Certified Commercial Investment Members and Commercial Real Estate Women of Northern Nevada for the first time will honor top performers in their industry next year.
The Summit Awards will recognize commercial agents, brokers, property managers and developers in the region.
Awards will include categories such as best new construction and rehabilitation project by a developer,most transactions closed by a broker and top leasing production in specific categories.
Par Tolles, president of the northern Nevada chapter of CCIM, and Katie Morrison, president of CREWS, said both groups believe the awards program is long overdue.
A black-tie awards ceremony is scheduled for April 8 at the Peppermill.
A call for entries will be released Oct.
1, with applications due Feb.
1.
All commercial agents and brokers will be invited to apply for awards and attend.
Sponsors also will be sought.
