Randi Thompson will serve on the Reno- Tahoe Airport Authority, and is to be sworn in July 14.
Thompson is a Reno-based pubic relations and event management consultant.
The Washoe County Commissioners appointed Thompson to succeed John Farahi, general manager of Atlantis,whose term expired June 30.
