Northern Nevada FOCUS is providing a 12-week series of courses teaching businesses energy and water efficiency.
The employee certification program designed for building engineers, facility operators and their crews is offered through the Management Assistant Partnership.
Beginning July 22, it will be held on Fridays at Truckee Meadows Community College in Reno and at 14 rural Nevada sites by video-conferencing.
The program includes how to reduce energy costs and enhance employee productivity, and it provides updates on the latest technology.
The program covers electrical, HVAC, water, compressed air, energy management control systems, code requirements and building commissioning.
The registration fee, which also earns CEUs through TMCC, is $1,500 for the entire program or $145 for each workshop.
