Helen Barbara Parlante, 87, a Carson City resident, died July 14, 2005, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born March 18, 1918, in Worcester, Mass., to Bronislaw and Stefania Borowicz Dombroski.
She married Jerry Parlante on Sept. 10, 1938, in Worcester. He preceded her in death in 2003 in Sacramento.
Mrs. Parlante was a tailor of production show costumes.
Among her survivors are her daughter, Barbara Ann Forde, of Carson City; grandchildren Lisa Boyd of Sacramento, Paul Boyd of San Francisco and Amy Boyd of Reno.
A private family memorial will be Sunday.
