DOUGLAS COUNTY - One driver was killed Friday night in a two-car collision at the intersection of Highway 395 and Stephanie Way in Douglas County.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the driver of a silver GMC utility vehicle was southbound on Highway 395 in the left turn lane at Stephanie Way. As the GMC attempted to make the left-hand turn, it struck the left front of a northbound Toyota Corolla around 6:03 p.m.
The driver of the Toyota was pronounced dead about 6:45 p.m.
Alcohol or drugs are not believed to be a contributing factor, the Highway Patrol reported.
Witnesses or anyone with information about the accident should call the Nevada Highway Patrol at 688-2500.
