Sue Lewis

A memorial service for Sue Lewis, 63, a Dayton resident for the past four years, will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 13, at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Mrs. Lewis died July 31, 2005, in Reno. She was born Jan. 25, 1942, in Wooster, Ohio, to Alfred and Mary Wagner.

She married Hal L. Lewis Aug. 7, 1982, in Carson City.

Before moving to Dayton, she lived in Groveland, Calif.

Mrs. Lewis was a member of the Women's Club, past president of the Garden Club and membership chairwoman of the Residents Club, all in Groveland. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and reading the Bible.

Among her survivors are her husband of Dayton; sons Phil J. Galvin of San Francisco, Matt Galvin of Las Vegas and Ray Galvin of Fairfield, Calif.; daughters Kelly Platt of Independence, Mo., and Tammie Vawter of Fresno, Calif.; father of Hayden, Idaho; sisters Doloras Sanders of Joliet, Ill., and Ruth Ann Kinder of Fullerton, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
