Peter Allen Williams

A funeral Mass for Peter Allen Williams, 41, a longtime Carson City resident, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church with a viewing at 1 p.m. and the Rosary at 1:30 p.m.

Mr. Williams died June 5, 2005, in Carson City. He was born Jan. 3, 1964, in Reno, to Philip L. and Joan L. Williams.

He attended Dayton Elementary School and Carson High School. He earned an associate of art's degree in mechanics from Western Nevada Community College.

He married Deborah on June 16, 1986.

While attending WNCC, he worked at J.C. Penney where he met his wife. He worked for Ron Corda's Chevron until it sold. He then became a correctional officer at the medium security prison in Carson City. He enjoyed sports, playing baseball and basketball throughout school and later coached youth sports. He was a member of the Mound House Volunteer Fire Department.

Among his survivors are his wife of Carson City; sons Macauley Philip, Bailey Allen and Mason Edward; parents of Austin; brother, Hank of Elko and nieces Theresa, Amanda, Taylor and Breann.

Memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund for his sons at Greater Nevada Credit Union, Williams family memorial fund, account no. 845429.

Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
