Matt Williams

What he does now: Part owner of the Arizona Diamondbacks, special assistant to general partner Jeff Moorad, broadcaster and coach. Next week he will be inducted into the hall of fame at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for his years in baseball with the San Francisco Giants, Cleveland Indians and Arizona Diamondbacks.

Carson High graduation: 1983

Most memorable experience: "I think my most memorable experience is all four years and understanding that the world is yours for the taking at that point."

Paul Laxalt

What he does now: President of The Paul Laxalt Group, a government consulting firm in Washington, D.C.

Carson High graduation: 1940

Most memorable experience: "Over the years, I've been blessed to be a part of many exciting and momentous events. But nothing will ever match the sheer joy and excitement of the evening in 1938 when our Carson High basketball won the Nevada state basketball championship."

Jedd Adair

What he does now: Sous chef de cuisine to Chef David Coleman at Duvet Restaurant (Duvetnyc.com), a new restaurant in the Flatiron District of Manhattan, N.Y.

Carson High graduation: Technically graduated in 2001, but completed his senior year of high school while attending his freshman year at Johnson and Wales University in Providence, R.I.

Most memorable experience from his four years there: "Every word that came out of Penny Reynolds' mouth. She is the most amazing, supportive and understanding person. Another very memorable day was the last day of my junior year, if you can understand why."

Dean Heller

What he does now: Nevada secretary of state

Carson High graduation: 1978

Most memorable experience: "As for my fondest memory of Carson High, the pep rallies where my good friends and teammates - Chris Anderson, Keith Forbes, Jim Tatro, Paul Manoukian and Ricky Pitts - and I enticed the crowd into a frenzy while dancing to the Steve Miller Band hit 'Jet Airliner, would be near the top of the list. The crowd was rockin' and we always gave it our all. Coach Andreason probably wished we had practiced hoops as hard as we worked on the basketball court during those pep rallies."
