JCM American Corp. opens office in Reno

JCM American Corp., a company that makes currency handling systems for gaming, vending, banking and other industries, has opened a sales and service office in Reno.

The office at 9410 Prototype Drive, Suite 22,will serve territories in northern Nevada, northern California, Oregon and Washington.

Rob Friedl was named sales manager in the office.He previously worked four years in Reno as a representative for the pharmaceutical firm Merck & Co.

Joe Chen will work as a service technician in the office.

Chen, who holds a degree in electrical engineering, previously worked for NCR in Sparks, Crime Watch in San Francisco and the Peppermill Hotel/Casino in Reno.
