Robert E. Riggins, 84, of Yerington died June 8, 2005, at home.
He was born Dec. 21, 1920, in Avon, Ill., to Arthur and Susan Riggins.
He married Alma King in 1946. She preceded him in death.
Mr. Riggins served in the U.S. Navy from 1940 to 1946 and was a Pearl Harbor survivor.
Among his survivors are his sons Robert Earl Jr. and James Arthur, both of Ogden, Utah; and sister, Marie Thompson of California.
A private family service will be in Illinois at a later date.
Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
