Annabelle A. Stimson

A celebration of life for Annabelle A. Stimson, 78, a Carson City resident for 32 years, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Empire Ranch Golf Course.

Ms. Stimson died June 11, 2005, in Carson City. She was born Sept. 26, 1926, in Chicago to Orbie and Ana Averiett.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in San Bernardino, Calif.

She graduated from high school in Chicago and attended San Jose State University.

She owned and operated Stimson Realty in Gardnerville and was a member of the Board of Realtors.

She was an accomplished oil painter and enjoyed skiing and golf.

Among her survivors are her ex-husband, James Stimson of Carson City; sons Jim of Crowley Lake, Calif., and Roger W. of Carson City; and grandchildren Dayna and Will Stimson.

Burial will be in Olivet Memorial Park in Colma, Calif.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
