Taste of Downtown winners announced

"This year's contest was extremely close," said Lisa Lee, executive director of Advocates to End Domestic Violence, the organization responsible Saturday's Taste of Downtown.

"Some categories were decided by just a handful of votes ... the Best Overall by a single vote."

Lee said the street party was a rousing success with few incidents, thanks to all its volunteers.

Best Taste: Molly's Catering

Best Discovery: Stew's Lucky Spur

Best Overall: B'Sghetti's

Best Band: Tahoe Dance Band

Best Shop: Chateau Bliss
