Bernard Smith, Jeff Rivard, Joel Young, Eloy Villarreal

Bernard Smith, Jeff Rivard, Joel Young and Eloy Villarreal have been promoted in the Nevada operations of Granite Construction Co.

Smith, promoted to project superintendent,will work on projects in Fernley.He has worked in the Nevada branch of Granite Construction for nearly 20 years.

Rivard, promoted to foreman, has been with Granite since 2002 and has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry.He will be responsible for grading and underground work on site development projects.

Young, who was promoted to labor foreman,will be responsible for fusing and installing all gas lines at the Northstar project site in Sparks.He has specialized in underground work for Granite since 1999.

Villarreal, promoted to underground leadman,will work on utilities at the Northstar and University Ridge Projects.

Villarreal has been employed with Granite since 2001.
