John Desmond has been elected president of the Washoe County Bar Association for 2005.
Desmond also serves on the board of bar examiners for the State Bar of Nevada, and on the board of directors for Washoe County Legal Services and the Reno Cancer Foundation.
He is a partner with the law firm of Jones Vargas.
