Dayton - A 10-year-old boy died from an apparently accidental hanging at his family's home Tuesday night, according to the Lyon County Sheriff's Department.
Investigators said the boy's sister found him around 8 p.m. Paramedics took him by ambulance to Carson-Tahoe Hospital. Doctors pronounced the child dead.
Sheriff deputies say the incident is still under investigation, but they said the death may have been accidental.
Investigators declined to release further information.
