Ron Treabess has joined the staff of the North Lake Tahoe Resort Association as director of infrastructure and transportation development.
Treabess has owned The Store in Tahoe City with his wife,Marilyn, since moving to the area 25 years ago.
He has a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture and has worked as a planner for the National Park Service for 16 years before moving to Lake Tahoe.
He has served as an elected director of the Tahoe City Public Utility District since 1987 and is chair of the Joint Powers Authority formed by the TCPUD and North Tahoe Public Utility District to oversee the North Lake Tahoe Regional Recreation Center proposal.
