Julie Starkey has joined Reno-based YMCA of the Sierra as vice president - philanthropy and communications, and Brad Stewart has been promoted to marketing and communications director for the organization.
Starkey, previously vice president - operations for the Mt.
Diablo Region YMCA, is a graduate of Arizona State University.
Stewart, previously communications assistant for the YMCA of the Sierra, is a University of Nevada graduate.
