Elsie G. Adkins, 75, a Carson City resident for the past 14 years, died March 10, 2005, at Evergreen Mountain View Center.
She was born Dec. 23, 1929, in Colony, Okla., to James T. and Mary James Bowles.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Paradise, Calif.
Mrs. Adkins was a manager in the gaming industry. She enjoyed crafts, jigsaw puzzles and reading.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harris E. Adkins, in 1983; sister, Helen Griffin in 1995; and brothers Pete and Glen.
Among her survivors are her brother, Clifford Bowles of Seattle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
No service is scheduled.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
