A memorial service for Vicki E. Beckman, 42, a Carson City resident for the past four years, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Beckman died March 12, 2005, in Sparks. She was born April 18, 1962, in San Francisco to Ronald L. and Violet E. Perazzo von Tauffkirchen.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in the San Francisco Bay area.
She attended Hayward Adult School and graduated from the University of California Berkley.
Mrs. Beckman volunteered in many causes including the Carson City Senior Center, Girl Scouts and other charitable and children's organizations.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Among her survivors are her daughters Jessica and Jeanette Beckman, both of Carson City; father and wife, Janet, of Medford, Ore.; sister, A.J. Cullum of St. Paul, Minn.; brother, Rudy von Tauffkirchen of Willits, Calif.; one niece, four nephews and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to breast cancer research or neurological research.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
